PokerStars has an excellent option to help reduce the dreaded variance. It is RunItTwice. Another fun hand. Not often you win over 30 big bets in a single hand of Limit poker. The table was full of maniacs, including the guy with Jacks. The hand really demonstrates the limitation of middle pairs and shows why you shouldn’t be jamming with one way hands. Turn and river were rather nice… Read More »
This hand shows the importance of re-draws and holding two way hands. Needless to say, I enjoyed playing it.
Moral of the story: be very careful playing marginal one way hands Alexis’ take Note: 35 is the 3rd nut low on the flop after A3, A5 contrary to Alexis dodgy proclamation (5th nut low)! 🙂 Andy’s take Play through the hand
